Alle lezers die gebruik maken van de Goodreads app kunnen jaarlijks stemmen voor de Goodreads Choice Awards. De Goodreads Choice Awards 2022 was alweer de 14e editie. Per categorie (in totaal zijn er 17 categorieën) worden er meerdere boeken genomineerd. Uit de genomineerde boeken wordt door de lezers die gebruik maken van Goodreads een winnaar gekozen.
